As our part of the Minnesota Annual Conference's commitment to racial justice
, we have been embarking on a process for clergy to receive a baseline training that gives us common language and practices for anti-racism. This baseline training will focus on developing a shared language to talk about racism. We will also work to build a community of support and accountability so clergy can honestly examine their own socialization regarding racism. Anti-racism, like any other spiritual discipline, requires intentional focus and regular practice. Clergy will meet online four times over eight weeks, with a small group check-in and reflective practice between sessions.
Cohort 10 is currently forming
Tuesdays 2-4 p.m., September 13, 27, October 11, 25
This program will be offered several more times. All clergy are encouraged to take part.
