Bishop David Bard, and Board of Ordained Ministry Co-Chairs Rhodie Jacobson and Terri Horn will lead Minnesota clergy via Zoom webinar as they gather to: celebrate those who are retiring and those being commissioned, ordained, and welcomed into full membership; remember those who have died in the past year; and rejoice with those completing Course of Study.
There will be an opportunity to gather in districts and have conversation with one another around the question: How is it with your soul? How has this past year changed us? What have we learned? What we are thinking and dreaming about as we imagine the year ahead?
Tod Bolsinger will be present for part of the day to speak to us about “Tempered Resilience: How Leaders Are Formed in the Crucible of Change,” which is also the title of his newest book. Tod is also the author of “Canoeing the Mountains: Christian Leadership in Uncharted Territory” and is the associate professor of leadership formation and senior fellow for the De Pree Center for Leadership at Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California.
There is no cost for the Clergy Session, but registration is required in order to receive the Zoom links to participate. Clergy Session is separate from Annual Conference registration.
All clergy members of the Minnesota Conference, and those appointed/assigned to churches/extension ministries in the Minnesota Conference, are asked to be present.
