Non-Profit Church Leadership Certificate: This year-long program, created in partnership with Dakota Wesleyan University, provides active clergy an opportunity to deepen and strengthen competencies essential to leading our churches through the areas of financial stewardship, stewarding human resources, stewarding vision, and stewarding the church. The cost of this program is $5,000, $4,000 of which will be provided by the Lilly Initiative. Of the remaining $1,000, $500 would be provided from personal funds of the clergyperson and $500 must be provided by the clergyperson's church(es). Soul Leaders: This is a five-retreat series that offers active clergy an opportunity to reconnect with their passion and purpose; explore issues related to heart, courage, and call; and help their congregations embrace God-sized dreams. Participants are part of a cohort of 20 to 25 colleagues and are gently, yet thoughtfully, led by two excellent facilitators who have been trained by the Center for Courage and Renewal.  Learn more

Clergy Leadership Academy: This three-year program focuses on equipping clergy with skills needed to be effective leaders in today’s world. All new provisional elders are required to participate during their first three years of ministry, and licensed local pastors are highly encouraged to participate. Since 2014, the academy has also been open to seasoned clergy seeking to hone their leadership skills.  Learn more
