The Minnesota Conference Disaster Response Team will be offering training opportunities for our Early Response Teams (ERT) in November. Please email Disaster Response Coordinator Paul Baker if you feel God is leading you to this ministry. When we hear from you, we will let you know when and where the training will be available.

We have been contacted by the Florida Conference of the UMC, asking if we can send a team to help with the relief and recovery after this hurricane, however we are still waiting to hear when and where they need us. We hope to be able to send a team or two for roughly a week to 10 day stay. Lee County, the Fort Meyers area, is requiring that the teams all have the ERT training that we are offering this November.

Due to the pandemic, many of our team members have chosen not to renew their certification, so if you have ever thought about becoming part of an Early Response Team, we need you now.

Pastors and mission coordinators, please advertise this training and service opportunity in your local churches.
