Continuing the Garret-Evangelical Theological Seminary’s commitment to reducing student debt and addressing the financial needs of students seeking a theological education, the seminary has an additional 25 full-tuition scholarships available for individuals applying for admission as a full-time student in Fall 2018:
There is no separate form to complete for scholarship consideration. Simply apply for admission by April 1, 2018, and you will automatically be considered for scholarships. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so students are encouraged to apply early for priority consideration.
Annually, Garrett-Evangelical awards over 2.5 million dollars in financial aid. Through our One Student. One Scholarship. program every master degree student receives a scholarship ranging from 25% of tuition up to 100% of tuition with stipends. In addition, Garrett-Evangelical offers a Fellows program for Deacons, Hispanic/Latinx, and Pan-Methodists students, numerous federal work-study positions, and paid internship opportunities through our field education program to offset the cost of tuition and living expenses. Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, a graduate school of theology related to The United Methodist Church, was founded in 1853.
