The church administrator is responsible for the overall administrative operations of the church office, focused primarily around customer service, communications, finances, and general office functions. Because this person is often the first point of contact for newcomers, this person must be able to extend radical hospitality naturally and represent the love of Christ easily. The church administrator’s role is one of support for staff and volunteers alike, helping all to maximize their efforts to serve in Christ’s ministries. Communication is a primary responsibility of this role, not only to those within the church community, but also to those within the greater Mound-area.
Knowledge (or ability to learn quickly) MS Office suite 2010 (Word, Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint), ICON CMO (financial software), gmail systems, internet, and social media are essential. Experience preferred. A pre-employment background check is required.
Starting pay: $14-$16 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience
