Lay Servant Ministries: The Minnesota Conference offers a variety of opportunities for laity to become trained and equipped to live out their calling.
The ELI Project: Consider becoming a host congregation for a college intern this summer. You can encourage and support young adults who want to discern God's call on their lives though hands-on ministry experience.
Transformational processes: The Minnesota Conference has three revitalization processes designed to help existing churches find new ways to disciple people, share God’s love, and make a difference in their communities and the world. The processes are geared toward churches that are seeking a fresh vision, wanting to refresh their strategic plan, eager to become more vital and vibrant, and/or ready to explore new ways to connect with their mission field.
Congregational development tools: Churches can receive specialized consulting in a wide variety of areas; learn about their strengths and vulnerabilities through a survey process; and receive demographic information specific to their congregation or mission field.
The Ministry Lab: The Ministry Lab recommends and shares web, video, print, curriculum, and other resources for all areas of church life. All Minnesota United Methodist clergy, staff, and lay leaders are welcome to contact The Ministry Lab for access to a wide variety of outstanding ministry resources and free consultation.
Videos: Churches throughout the Minnesota Conference are responding to God’s call to grow in love of God and neighbor, reach new people, and heal a broken world. Every year, some of the stories of the breakthroughs in our midst are told through videos, and congregations are encouraged to show these videos in worship.
