The new Wesley Pilgrimage will be April 26-May 4, 2018 and is titled “Praying in the Wesleyan Spirit.” We will explore prayer as a critical foundation of the Wesleyan way. The sermons of John Wesley and the hymns of Charles Wesley will guide us in understanding why prayer is essential to Christian life and mission. Pilgrims will practice prayer in the Wesleyan spirit in some of the places important to the life and ministry of John and Charles Wesley (Oxford, Bristol, and London).

This new pilgrimage is open to all United Methodists. Laity and any clergy who are not fully ordained deacons or elders are especially invited to participate. It is an eight-day pilgrimage, which means the cost ($1,795) is less that the longer pilgrimage offered in July.

Registration:

Registration for the April 26-May 4, 2018 Wesley Pilgrimage in England is open now. There is space for 25 people. Details and registration are available at http://umcdiscipleship.org/wesleypilgrimage.
