Talking about Race in Your Neighborhood/Church/Community
Re-Forming our Neighborhoods-- Becoming Pentecost People

Pre- Conference Workshop, Monday, June 19, 1-8:30 p.m.  Kelly Best Western Inn, St. Cloud

COSROW, CORR, NAMAT and UMW have partnered to create a pre-conference experience that will
potentially change your corner of the world!

Collaboratively explore:
  • How we got the way we are and what we can do about it.
  • How our baptism vows call us to be people who stand up to racism in whatever forms it presents itself.
  • How our living into sanctification matters for our community.
  •  How we can change who we are through the power of the Holy Spirit.
People who live, work and minister in Minnesota will lead us throughout the day.
  • Julia Mann Gunderson will present a one-woman performance about growing up in a multi-racial household.
  • Presenters include Shawn Moore, Bill Konrardy and others.
  • All participants will form plans of action for their own neighborhoods and contexts for ministry

$30 registration includes dinner; $10 without dinner (or if you can only come for part of the time).

You may register along with your Annual Conference registration or separately. You may attend this pre-conference seminar without attending Annual Conference.
