Did you know that more than 50 Minnesota United Methodist churches have formed a partnership with a local school and are making a difference in the lives of children in their communities? Is yours one of them? Education has a direct impact on children’s quality of life and their prospects for the future. As Christians, we are called to help them live up to their God-given potential. Partnerships include everything from supplying backpacks, clothing, or weekend meals; tutoring or mentoring students; opening up the church to school gatherings; supporting teachers; adopting a classroom; and praying for teachers and students.

Come learn about how to form a school partnership or strengthen your existing partnership! This event features speaker Jake McGlothin, director of serve ministries at Floris UMC in Herndon, Virginia and author of The Mission-Minded Guide to Church and School Partnerships

You will learn about:

  • The impact and theology of partnership
  • Starting a partnership
  • Practical tools and tips for your partnership

Mark your calendar! More info coming soon to your church.
