Media and Technology Coordinator

The media and technology coordinator will be a member of Evangel’s Technology Team, assisting with worship support and attending their monthly meetings.

Utilize presentation software (Easy Worship, Pro Presenter or equivalent) to create screen presentations for each worship service. This includes:

  • importing songs from CCLI Song Select — verify license coverage, and maintain license
  • maintain library of song slides and backgrounds / images
  • integrate videos and powerpoint slides, as needed
  • prepare pre-service slides/videos/countdown
  • setup scripture slides from the scripture library
  • create all new slides as needed, such as sermon title slides.  
Provide Tech booth laptop support:
  • ensure software updates are made, security tools are up to date, maintain passwords, debug issues
Be familiar with software tools:
  • monitor industry tools - determine if new tools are needed to support the worship service
  • support Easy Worship (or Pro Presenter), Planning Center, and video streaming tools used for worship and planning
Maintain Projectors:
  • ensure bulbs and filters are maintained
Be familiar with our Crestron/Lutron controllers
  • simple debug and reporting of problems
Understand Audio board, Video cameras and controls, lighting controls
  • learn how to operate, debug problems, train operators
  • understand microphones and maintain equipment

Monitor and enable Video streaming, uploading video/sound files to website

Staff tech support

  • address staff tech issues and bring to tech team, if needed
  • understand general office computer and network to aid in debug/support
  • understand the technology in room 224 and assist as necessary
  • assist with video editing for worship services, Sunday School, Mega Kids Camp, etc.

Recruit, train and coordinate A/V volunteers for support of integrated multi-media for worship services.

This is a part-time position, requiring at least ten hours/week, including Wednesday evenings (Praise Team practice) and Sunday mornings (or during any other regularly scheduled worship service).

The right candidate for this position will be someone able to stay abreast of our ever changing cultural and digital landscape.
