An evening with Rev. Alan Storey

published 9/9/2016

Location: Northfield UMC

Start: Sept. 29, 7 p.m.

End: 9 p.m.

Alan Storey is a peacemaker and Methodist pastor - the last South African to be tried in that country as a conscientious objector under the apartheid regime. In his home country he has started hunger and homelessness ministries and won Rotary's Paul Harris award. He will be in Minnesota for a day of teaching pastors at Good Earth Village and a weekend delivering his Manna and Mercy retreat in Northfield. In a pause between these formal events Rev. Storey will spend an evening at Northfield United Methodist Church talking about the powerful experiences he has traveled half a world to share, and engaging in a Q & A with his fellow Methodists. Light refreshments will be provided and copies of the graphic novel "Manna and Mercy" will be available for purchase.
