Duties:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support office of the CEO
• Provide first responses to inquiries to CEO.
• Coordinate CEO’s calendar and travel arrangements.
• Prepare correspondence for the CEO.

General Relationships
• Support logistics which build relationships with staff and representatives of member judicatories.
• Provide support for meetings and events, as needed.
Constituency
• Provide support for engagement of CEO and other staff in the lives of the member judicatories, including:
• Coordinate logistics for heads of communion breakfasts (4-5/year);
• Coordinate logistics for heads of communion annual retreat;
• Provide support for outreach and engagement of potential MCC members;
• Provide information and introduction of new board members.

Governance
• Provide primary support and coordination for Board (2/year), Executive Committee (2/year) and Nominations Committee (2-3/year):
• Maintain database information on participants;
• Set timelines and schedule meetings;
• Prepare communications, logistics, registrations;
• Prepare agendas and attachments for all meetings;
• Record, prepare and disseminate meeting minutes;
• Provide for evaluation tool and collate results.

Program: Community Engagement
• Provide support and coordination for Community Engagement programs, as time allows:
• Maintain database information on participants;
• Set timelines and schedule meetings;
• Prepare communications, logistics, registrations;
• Prepare agendas and attachments for all meetings;
• Record, prepare and disseminate meeting minutes;
• Provide for evaluation tool and collate results.

General
• Maintain files and records of actions, bylaws, legal documents, including work with the MN Historical Society archivist.
• Write and update standard operating procedures related to job duties, as needed.
• Establish and maintain filing systems.
• Participate in the Administrative Assistants pool in supporting the work of others, making sure front desk and phones are covered.
• Participate in data management system development: checking lists for accuracy, removing duplicates.
• To perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications:
• Demonstrated administrative aptitude: ability to coordinate complex work assignments, problem solving, administrative systems refinement.
• Ability to anticipate and cover needed details.
• Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated aptitude with administrative support tasks, including typing (dictation, correspondence), filing, meeting support, and telephone support.
• Ability to work in a team setting.
• Demonstrated effective and open communication style and writing skills.
• Ability to use PC computers and related software including Word, Excel, desktop publishing, database management (FileMaker), online registration (FormStack) and Internet access, or willing to be trained.
• Familiarity with and sensitivity to the constituency of the MCC including diverse ethnic and religious backgrounds.
• Understanding of the confidential needs of executive management work.
• Experience in non-profit settings with governance structures.

Compensation:
$18-20/hour
