This is an essential training event focused on intercultural skills development, theological reflection, and cultural anthropology theory. This event is open to and recommended for all clergy and lay people, particularly those whose congregations and mission fields contain significant diversity.
Participation is part of the commitment made by members of key conference committees including Board of Ordained Ministry (BOOM), Common Table, District Committees on Ordained Ministry (DCOM), Commission on Religion and Race (CORR), and Commission on the Status and Role of Women (COSROW). If you have not participated in the past, you are expected to attend this event.
This event is led by members of the Commission on Religion and Race who are qualified to use the process and materials developed by the Kaleidoscope Institute.
