This year's annual conference session is an event for the entire family, and the schedule has been designed specifically with youth in mind. Here are options for the youngest attendees:
Tuesday evening, from 6-9 p.m., there will be music by Boiling Point, games, health kit packing, food trucks, and fun in Lake George Park. Everyone is welcome, not just conference participants. Come on by! All are welcome (even if you are not attending conference). No registration is required.
Licensed providers will care for infants through kindergarten-age children at the Kelly Inn (attached to the convention center). The cost is $30 per day and includes lunch and snacks. Children are encouraged to bring a favorite toy (one they are willing to share) and comfort items. Times when child care is available are:
Tuesday – 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Celebration in the Park is in the evening)
Wednesday – 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. (plus, free child care is available during the Celebration of Life In Ministry service)
Thursday – 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Children who have completed kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to day camp with field trips and fun! This camp is based at the Holiday Inn. Staff from Koronis Ministries and Northern Pines Camp will lead three days of activities in and around St. Cloud, including day trips to area attractions and a trip to Koronis for swimming, canoeing, archery, and camp exploration. Plus, there will be plenty of time to enjoy the awesome facilities at the St. Cloud Holiday Inn. The focus of this camp will be safety and sharing Christ, community, and creation.
Camp is based at the St. Cloud Holiday Inn (75 S. 37th Ave.) with drop off and pick up in the activity area. To use the pools, participants and their families are expected to be guests of the Holiday Inn ($84 per night, for reservations call 320-253-9000); please contact Gail Johnson for alternate arrangements. Cost is $135 per camper.
Tuesday – Recreation center with field trip – drop-off, 7:30-10:30 a.m.; pick-up 5-5:30 p.m.
Wednesday – Camp day at Koronis – drop-off, 7:30-8 a.m.; pick-up, 5-5:30 p.m.
Thursday – Recreation center with field trip – drop-off, 7:30-8 a.m.; pick-up, 4:30-5 p.m.
Participants will need to bring a swimsuit and towel. Lunch and snacks will be provided. Register children as you register for conference. Bring a completed health form and release form with you the first day.
Using the STORM Camp model, youth who have completed grades 7-12 will engage in hands-on mission projects in and around St. Cloud and participate in several key sessions at annual conference. The cost is $95, which includes lodging at St. Cloud State University dorms, meals, and programming. Register participants individually. Bring a completed health form and release form with you the first day.
Adult leaders are needed for a one to five ratio and will be asked to transport participants.
Lodging options at Koronis Ministries give family members the opportunity to enjoy the camp’s facilities while you are in sessions. Tent and trailer spots, cabins, and lodge rooms are available. Contact Koronis Ministries (320-243-4544) to reserve your spot.
